Who Can Vote in Minneola City Elections?
If you live within the City of Minneola and are registered to vote at your current address, Minneola City Council races should appear on your ballot. Council seats are elected by voters throughout the city, so you do not need to live in a particular neighborhood or council district to vote for an individual seat.
To register and vote in Florida, you must:
- Be a United States citizen.
- Be a legal resident of Florida and Lake County.
- Be at least 18 years old by Election Day. You may preregister at 16.
- Have your voting rights restored if you were convicted of a felony or adjudicated mentally incapacitated with respect to voting.

Request Your Ballot
Lake County’s regular vote-by-mail ballot mailings begin on September 25, 2026 and continue through October 24.
Voters can request a vote-by-mail ballot online, by phone, in person, or with a completed request form. The deadline to request that a ballot be mailed for the November 3 General Election is October 22, 2026.

Fill out your ballot carefully and check that your selections are clear.

Place the ballot in the return envelope and sign where required.
Return It Early
Your completed ballot must be received—not merely postmarked—by 7 p.m. on Election Day.
